Retirement

There are many elements to consider when constructing a retirement home or village; there are often multiple stakeholders, tight timeframes, a longer build process for the team and staged development with the comfort of residents to consider.

Queenstown Country Club

When New Zealand’s newest and most prestigious retirement village was set to be built amid the rich panorama of Queenstown’s mountain peaks, the AJ Scott team was called in to manage the build process.

Queenstown Country Club, designed by celebrated architects Warren & Mahoney is designed around the concept of connection and community, liveable spaces for residents, their family and guests to enjoy.

This two-stage build has seen, and will see, AJ Scott’s southern team of builders on-site for a number of years working to tight timeframes to complete 200 individual 2-3 bedroom, two bathroom villas. The elegant villas are clad in cedar with coloursteel roofs and bold schist chimneys, built to a high specification that speaks luxury.
